Some information is optional. However, certain features may not work without basic information like email, username, or approximate location.

When you use Athly, we automatically collect:

Actions you take in the app (e.g., joining events, following communities, sending messages)
Pages/screens viewed, taps, scrolls, and interactions

Approximate location based on IP address or general settings to show you nearby athletes, events, and communities
If you enable location services, we may collect more precise location from your device (e.g., GPS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth) to improve recommendations and nearby discovery.
You can control location access through your device settings. If you turn off location services, some features may be limited or unavailable.

You can opt out of non-essential marketing emails by following the unsubscribe link in those messages. Service/transactional emails may still be sent.

With Business & Community Accounts
When you join a community or club on Athly:
Community admins may see information necessary to manage their community, such as your name, profile, and membership status.
Community announcements and events you interact with may be visible to other community members.
Community and business accounts are responsible for using any information they receive via Athly in line with their own legal obligations and privacy practices.
With Service Providers
We may share information with vendors and service providers who help us:
Host and operate the Services
Provide analytics and performance monitoring

Process payments and subscriptions
Provide customer support
These providers only receive information needed to perform services for us and are required to protect it.

Children’s Privacy
Athly is intended for individuals 18 years of age or older (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, if higher). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under this age.

International Users
